We had the pleasure to meet up with the boys in Circa Survive and MewithoutYou at Gas Monkey Live in Dallas, TX last week. Circa was on the tail end of their 10 year anniversary celebration of the release of "On Letting Go." Everything about the show was fantastic. Their production crew is all top notch and did a fantastic job with the stage set up.
We've been following both bands since their early beginnings so for us, it was really fun that all these years later we get to attend the show where work and pleasure were one in the same. Both Brendan and Colin have Phoenix power supplies under their boards and Mewithoutyou have been using Walrus gear for a while. Julia Vibrator/Chorus, Jupiter Fuzz, Iron Horse distortion and even the now discontinued Harvester make appearances on their boards.
Fun fact, while Tyler was filming clips of Brandon from Mewithoutyou trying out pedals, he sat on Brandon's dinner. Rice and burritos were distributed evenly across his pants. Good times had by all.
