We met up with Colony House during the Tour De Compadres tour with NEEDTOBREATHE, Ben Rector, and Drew Holcomb.
Our friend and local musician Steve Goss stopped by to spend some time with the effects loop of our Bellwether Analog Delay.
Alex Coleman of Horse Thief shows us how he uses the Walrus Audio Descent Reverb. The Descent Reverb has three modes; hall, reverse, and shimmer. Here, Alex uses all three.
Quint Anderson goes through his favorite settings for bass on the Descent Reverb / Octave Machine. The Descent is a Reverb pedal that can add octaves to your signal and send it through three different Reverb modes; Hall, Reverse, and Shimmer. Bass players will find that the octaves add richness to the final sound with wet reverb to let it swim for miles.
Austin Cannon runs his AKAI MPK 49 and Korg SV188 through the Descent Reverb. He journeys through Hall and Shimmer modes to show how adding octaves and a little tail can greatly enhance the presence of the keys. Recorded and the Academy of Contemporary Music in downtown OKC.
