The main reason to jump on this pedal is the fact that you can save three presets. That alone makes this pedal incredible. Walrus has taken that feature across a wide array of their pedal offerings. I also have the Slötva, Mako M1, D1 and R1 and enjoy their functionality in that regard as well. The only negatives of this pedal are the somewhat limited controls on the outside of the box. The 3 band EQ and boost are powerful enough for most applications but having the Q trimpots left on the inside feels a bit disappointing. With that being said I don’t know of any other EQ pedals on the market that bridge the simplicity with the functionality you get with this EQ pedal. Now, say Walrus were to make a Mako series stereo capable EQ (where you could deliver different EQs to each output.) With Q controls, a more tunable boost with on/off functionality on the second foot-switch, loads of save Le presets and whatever other wild features the mad scientists at Walrus can come up with on a pedal like that… well you’d have yet another repeat customer.
Hey Ryan! Thanks for the ideas. Glad you are enjoying the gear! Enjoy! - Walrus Audio
