I figured Fable would be fun in the studio, but I was surprised how useful it is live. For me, it’s really shining in between songs where I wanna keep making some transitional sound to bridge the gap. As others have noted, this thing seeds much more straightforward delays/reverbs in a really special way. I’ve found that I can often play thru this pedal, and somewhere along the way, switch my delay/reverb patches for the next song. With Fable as the common denominator, the atmosphere around it can pretty seamlessly morph to set the vibe for the next song, and I can sit in that space till it’s time to drop in. Also really enjoying it as a tempo-loose bed under clean fingerpicking. I generally find myself reaching for this as a less washy alternative to big wet reverbs. It’s great!
Hey Kyle! Glad the Fable is morphing the atmosphere. Sounds intense, but satisfying! Cheers! - Walrus Audio
