I ordered Sloër last week, and just received Lore this afternoon. If you're wondering if it sounds good to run Lore into Sloër, the answer is **** yes! It creates a wonderful stereo atmosphere with Lore probably remaining mono, but sounds amazing. I'm running an acoustic (Taylor 810/910 w/ LR Baggs p/u) and I'm blown away by the depth and aurally thrilling complexities of the combination of the two pedals, but also quite overwhelmed with all of the optional parameters. Lore, especially, is going to take some time with which to become intuitive because there are controls beyond the labeled dials, and what can be adjusted with the dials and holding bypass is not uniform among all the programs. There's a learning curve, and I probably won't figure it out by my gig on Saturday. It's easy to let the effect levels be too high in the mix because they sound so great, but I'm going to try to keep them just under the surface on most songs, and only JUST detectable like atmospheric spice.
I love these pedals - they sound awesome on an acoustic guitar, and I can't wait to get a 12 string and try it through them.
WA: Please create more atmospheric pedals that sound good on acoustic instruments! How about a chorus reverb, reverse reverb, phase/****** or something? You create more high quality sounding pedals like this, and I'll buy em!
Hey Brant! Thanks for the love. Try out the Fundamental Ambient! Enjoy. - Walrus Audio
